Content License & Usage Rules
This page explains how purchased videos can be used on ClipsSV. Buying a video grants a license to use it — not ownership.
1) Content types on ClipsSV
Edited (Final) Videos
Finished videos intended for immediate use. The buyer may publish, but may not modify the video file.
Raw (Unedited) Videos
Source footage intended for editing. The buyer may edit the footage, but may not resell or redistribute the raw file.

3) What you are allowed to do
For Edited (Final) videos, you may:
- Download the video after purchase (if available in your purchase library).
- Post it on social media, websites, ads, presentations, or client deliverables.
- Use it for personal or commercial purposes.
- Add captions, text overlays, or background music — without altering the video itself.
For Edited (Final) videos, you may NOT:
- Cut, trim, remix, recolor, or otherwise modify the video file.
- Extract clips or create derivatives from the video file.
- Resell, redistribute, or upload it to marketplaces or libraries.
For Raw (Unedited) videos, you may:
- Edit, cut, crop, recolor, stabilize, or remix the footage.
- Combine it with other content and publish the final result anywhere.
- Use it for personal or commercial projects.
For Raw (Unedited) videos, you may NOT:
- Resell or redistribute the raw file (as-is) to anyone.
- Upload the raw file to other marketplaces, libraries, or “stock” sites.
- Claim you recorded the original footage or that you own the original copyright.
4) Never allowed (all content)
- Resell the video file or share it for others to download (free or paid).
- Upload the content to stock/content marketplaces or public download libraries.
- Claim authorship/ownership of the original recording.
- Use the content for illegal activity, fraud, deception, or harmful purposes.
- Use the content to impersonate the creator or any person in the video.
5) Ownership & copyright
Creators keep full copyright. Your purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content under these rules. No ownership rights are transferred. Unless a listing states otherwise, creators may sell the same content to multiple buyers.
Monetization (commercial use)
Yes — you may monetize purchased videos (for example on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, websites, ads, or client work) as long as you follow this license. Monetization is permitted, but not guaranteed. You are responsible for complying with each platform’s policies and for avoiding third-party rights issues (for example copyrighted music, trademarks, or logos).
6) Enforcement
ClipsSV may suspend accounts for violations, revoke access to content obtained through abuse or fraud, and cooperate with lawful requests when required. Violations may result in account bans without refund.
7) Responsibility
Buyers are responsible for ensuring their use complies with local law and the policies of platforms where they publish (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Meta). ClipsSV provides a marketplace and does not guarantee results from content usage.
